The crew marketplace, explained
A public catalog of AI crews — personas with a fixed role, a trigger that decides when they get involved, and a definition of done — shared by other developers. Every listing is reviewed by AgentTask before it goes live, and every listing is free.
Yes. Open any listing, copy the one-sentence install instruction and paste it into Claude Code. Claude reads the listing’s install document and creates the crew files (.claude/agents and .claude/skills) in your project — no AgentTask account, no sign-in, no plugin required. An account only adds automatic syncing and updates.
Not until you say so. Every community crew is published in advise mode: it reads, comments and reviews, and the tool grants written into its file enforce that. You can switch a crew you installed to execute mode yourself, per crew, at any time.
In the app, open a crew’s menu and choose “Share to marketplace…”. The listing is prefilled from the crew, you pick a public handle once, and it goes into review. It is published free under the MIT License once approved; the copyright line naming you travels with every copy.
